Will Smith has donated $1.3million to charitable causes over the last year. Tax returns for the Hancock star show that he and wife Jada donated the money to a range of charities including arts projects, religious groups and hospitals. The single largest donation was made to the born-again Christian group Yesha Ministries of Philadelphia, which received $250,000. He also made a $122,500 donation to the Church of Scientology, which has sparked rumours that he could be reconsidering joining the religion.
Russell Brand has admitted that he would like to kiss the Jonas Brothers as he brings in 2009. The comedian told Us Magazine that the pop trio are his ideal smooching partners for New Year, adding that it would be done "gently and consensually". The British comedian also said that he could not stop touching his Bedtime Stories co-star Adam Sandler when they first met.

Blur have decided to prepare for their forthcoming reunion gigs by performing a warm-up concert at their old art college according to the Daily Star. Damon Albarn, Graham Coxon and Alex James formed the band while they studied together at London's Goldsmith's college in 1989. Drummer Dave Rowntree was also recruited for the group, and they performed a secret show there before their Greatest Hits tour.
Little Britain stars David Walliams and Matt Lucas have accepted libel damages and a public apology over claims that they offended gay interest groups. In September Daily Star published an article suggesting that the comedy actors had caused uproar among gay protest groups in the US ahead of the launch of Little Britain USA. The duo's lawyer Rod Christie-Miller told the judge that the article had caused "considerable distress" to both Walliams and Lucas. Ian Helme, counsel for Express Newspapers which owns the Daily Star Sunday, offered a sincere apology for publishing the false allegations.
Rumours are circulated that Britney Spears is dating Good Charlotte’s Benji Madden. Guitarist Madden split with Paris Hilton last month and was introduced to Spears by her manager, Larry Rudolph. Rudolph reportedly decided to set Spears up with Madden after drawing up a shortlist of potential boyfriends which included Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps and Gossip Girl actor Chace Crawford.

Axl Rose has gone AWOL during the promotion of Guns N' Roses' ‘Chinese Democracy’ according to reports. The rock band's first album in 15 years charted at number two on the UK album charts on Sunday, but Rose's label is disappointed that the frontman didn't help with any PR for the record. His record label said "People have been trying to contact him for two months and he's been completely AWOL. You would have thought after spending 15 years on an album you might do a few weeks' promotion."
Graham Norton has denied that he is being lined up as the next host of the Eurovision Song Contest. Reports have suggested that the Irish comedian is in the frame to replace Terry Wogan, but he dismissed the idea as speculation, saying that no-one has spoken to him about the role. "It's a really hard gig to take over from Terry because he is genius at it and has made it his own. I think they are changing the voting a bit so I'm sure he'll be back," he said.
Fall Out Boy have announced a four-date mini-tour of UK arenas for next year. The tour is in support of their fifth studio album ‘Folie A Deux’, which arrives in stores on December 16. The group will kick off the tour at Manchester's MEN Arena on March 5 and wrap up at the Brighton Centre on March 8.
A man posing as a tramp has accused Ashton Kutcher of mugging him. While in London with his wife Demi Moore for the premiere of Flawless, the actor fell victim to a practical joker. According to the Daily Star, a man approached Kutcher in Covent Garden and asked him for money. When the actor produced a £10 note, the stranger shouted that he was being mugged. As the man walked away he told Kutcher "you've been Punk'd" in reference to the Hollywood star's MTV prank show.
The Prodigy and Basement Jaxx have been announced as the headline acts for Rock Ness 2009. Dizzee Rascal and Biffy Clyro are also confirmed for the three-day festival. Rock Ness will take place on the banks of Loch Ness on June 12, 13 and 15. Tickets are currently on sale.

Graham Norton is to star as a drag artist in a West End show. The presenter will play nightclub act 'Zaza' in the musical La Cage Aux Folles from January 19. Norton attended a press conference at the Playhouse Theatre in full drag to make the announcement this morning. He is scheduled to appear until April 25. The musical, which tells the story of a gay couple living in St. Tropez, was originally written as a play in 1973.
Kid Rock has warned Duffy to stay away from him because he is infatuated with her. The rocker confessed that he had fallen for the Welsh soul singer after hearing the 1960s influence on her debut album Rockferry. He told the Daily Star "I did meet her recently, but I told her to stay away from me or she will end up pregnant. I like some of the Duffy stuff because it is very nostalgic for me as a Motown fan. It's nice to hear those rhythm and blues grooves with something up-to-date being done over the top.”
Lindsay Lohan has denied reports that she has attended relationship therapy with girlfriend Samantha Ronson. The couple have allegedly turned to counselling after going through a rough patch, which is said to have included a row over Lohan's ex Calum Best.

Speculation began when a Jon Windle from Sheffield was included among the BNP's supporters. Sheffield is also the singer's home city.

The actress, who played Rachel Green in the sitcom for ten years, admitted that she even rows with people who didn't enjoy the show. On The Buses star Reg Varney has sadly passed away at the grand old age of 92. The actor played bus driver Stan Butler in the series during the 70’s. His first TV appearance came in 1961 in the BBC sitcom The Rag Trade. He is survived by his daughter, two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Ben Stiller's film career has been celebrated at New York's Museum of Moving Image gala. Adam Sandler, P Diddy, Jack Black, Mike Myers and Robert De Niro paid tribute to the comedy actor at the Cipriani venue. P.Diddy poked fun at Stiller by saying "I put Ben in my video for 'Bad Boy for Life’, I thought he'd return the favour. But I guess I wasn't black enough to be in Tropic Thunder. Robert Downey Jr. was a little blacker. But that's fine."
Former Guns N' Roses drummer Steven Adler would reportedly like to return to the band. Adler was fired over drugs problems in 1990, and this week pleaded no contest to a charge of heroin possession at Los Angeles Superior Court. He is reportedly hoping to rejoin the group once he has undergone a course of rehabilitation.
Whoopi Goldberg has revealed that there are plans to make a London stage version of the movie Sister Act. A musical stage version premiered in California in 2006 and a UK adaptation will open at the London Palladium on June 2.
A TV reporter has quit her job following a disastrous interview with Pink. Hannah Hodson became aggressive with the singer while interviewing her for New Zealand's TVNZ last October, it has been reported. Hodson was said to be angry that Pink had fired her sister from working as her assistant. Pink claimed that she attempted to stay calm during the talk but said "it was really hard to stay". The singer eventually stormed off set and the interview was never aired.

The Enemy will launch the NME awards at an invite only gig in London. The band will perform at The Prince, Brixton, on November 26 which will mark the opening of voting for this year's awards. The NME Awards take place at the Brixton Academy on February 25.

Lindsay Lohan was targeted by an anti-fur campaign group outside a Paris nightclub on Saturday. Lohan was heading to the VIP room of a Champ-Elysees venue just after 1am when a French activist dumped a bag of flour on her and shouted: "Lindsay Lohan, fur hag!". Earlier this year, the actress appeared on a PETA worst dressed list alongside Kylie Minogue, Kate Moss and Eva Longoria.

Kaiser Chiefs keyboard player Peanut has been hospitalised while on tour in Brazil. The musician is suffering from appendicitis and has been treated for the illness in Sao Paulo. The rest of the band will continue with live commitments in America, Peanut is expected to rejoin his band when they play Chicago Park West on November 13.
Jaden Smith will star in the reworking of the hit 1984 film The Karate Kid. Will Smith’s talented young son was linked to the role over a year ago. The movie is being produced by Will Smith and will loosely follow the plot of the original, which revolved around a young boy who learns to stand up to bullies with the help of mentor Mr. Miyagi.
Scottish indie band Glasvegas have been confirmed as the headliners for the 2009 NME Awards Tour. Friendly Fires, White Lies and Florence And The Machine will complete the tour line-up. The tour will kick off in Liverpool on January 29 and ends on February 21 at Brixton Academy.
Bill Bailey has revealed that he was offended after supermarket giant Asda approached him to appear in a series of adverts. Bailey was worried that starring in the ad may suggest that his relationship with his fans could be bought or sold. He went into detail saying "I see the ad and I think: 'What the hell are you doing? Have you not got enough money? Why are you taking the Wal-Mart, Asda's parent company, dollar? Have you seen Wal-Mart - The High Cost of Low Price, the documentary about Wal-Mart? It has been reported that that Bill Murray was involved in an altercation in New York's Times Square last week. The actor apparently scrapped with a man who bumped into him during the Barack Obama election celebrations. It has been alleged that Murray threw punches at the unnamed man before they were separated by police. No arrests were made following the incident.

Courtney Cox and David Arquette hosted a Barack Obama victory party at their home in Beverly Hills on Tuesday night. The couple welcomed the likes of Jennifer Aniston and Isla Fisher into their home to celebrate North America’s first black president. It was reported that David was in such a good mood, he walked outside and poured champagne for the paparazzi.
Ben Stiller has said that he is not happy about his children watching all of his movies. The Hollywood funnyman said he has banned six-year-old Ella Olivia and three-year-old Quinlin Dempsey from viewing his more mature movies and would prefer them to watch his family-friendly work. However, he also admitted “My daughter is not that interested in movies. She'd rather be playing with her dolls, which is good. I think that's healthy. My son sort of gets showbiz but he's also more involved with his trains.”
Rob Schneider will be taking the lead role in a sex themed comedy Virgin On Bourbon Street. The movie is based around a student whose vow of abstinence is tested by a night of debauchery at university. Filming is due to start this week.
Death Cab For Cutie frontman Ben Gibbard was bitten by a scorpion during a concert in San Diego. Band members had to call the emergency services after Gibbard was stung by a scorpion twice while backstage for a costume change. Bassist Nick Harmer said "Ben's okay, if not a little shaken, but we were worried for a while because the scorpion was a little guy and when it comes to the wonderful world of scorpions, the smaller the deadlier."

Hugh Grant and Sarah Jessica Parker are set to star in a romantic comedy together. The project is yet to be named but the pair will play a New York couple who have to adapt to small town life after being placed in the witness protection album. The movie is due to begin shooting in March.
The View’s frontman Kyle Falconer has apologised for his drunken performance at a recent Nottingham gig. The Scottish singer was reportedly struggling to stand, and for the majority of the gig Stuart Purvey, from The Law, who were supporting The View stepped in for vocal duties. Falconer has now apologised to his fans saying "I'm really sorry to have let all our fans down. There's no excuses, I'm just really sorry I got so drunk and couldn't do the gig.”
Gwen Stefani has posted pictures of her two month old daughter, Zuma, on her website. A statement on her website says "We wanted to share with you the first photo of Zuma Nesta Rock Rossdale. Gwen, Gavin, Kingston and Zuma are all doing well and enjoying being a party of four."
The Hives are facing a plagiarism suit after an LA songwriter has claimed that they stole his riff and vocal line in ‘Tick Tick Boom’. When speaking to LA Weekly songwriter Jason Shapiro claimed that the rockers has plagiarised his track ‘Why You?’. He also said "I absolutely love The Hives and don't feel great about suing a band I love. But I also feel credit is due where it is due if you borrow a riff."
Justin Lee Collins has denied that his marriage is on the rocks despite reports that he was seen fondling another woman. It has been reported that the Sunday Night Project host was seen exchanging kisses with and fondling a local radio worker in full view of other drinkers. Led Zeppelin are planning to tour without their frontman Robert Plant. When speaking to the BBC bassist John Paul Jones said they are “trying out a couple of singers”. Steve Tyler of Aerosmith fame is the latest singer to be linked to joining Led Zeppelin.

Guns N' Roses have released details of their long-awaited ‘Chinese Democracy’ album. The album has been 14 years in the making will be released on November 24. The title track was aired on Radio 1 for the first time yesterday morning.
Russell Brand has said that he would like to cleanse his soul. The comedian has just invested in a hot tub which cleans itself, and remarked that he would like a soul with the same ability. When speaking about his new investment Brand said "It's self-cleansing, unlike my soul. I've started drinking chlorine in the vain hope that one day I'll reach enlightenment! It's like Lourdes...people come there to get cleansed."
Scissor Sisters have parted ways with their drummer Paddy Boom. The flamboyant pop band have announced that he will be replaced with Randy Schrager. The band have released a statement saying that the split was amicable.
Metallica have announced an eight-date UK tour, their first full set of live gigs in Britain in 12 years. The band have made numerous festival appearances but have not toured the UK since 1996. The World Magnetic Tour kicks off at Nottingham's Trent FM Arena on February 25 and ends at London’s O2 Arena on March 28.

The Long Blondes have announced that they have split up. The Sheffield band said guitarist Dorian Cox's recent illness was the primary reason for the break-up. Cox suffered a stroke in the summer, which forced the band to cancel a string of live performances. In 2006 they were awarded the prestigious Philip Hall Radar Award, previously won by the Kaiser Chiefs and Franz Ferdinand.
Pink has called the Queen rude after she did not reply to a letter the feisty singer wrote as part of an anti-fur and hunting campaign. When speaking to the Daily Star, Pink said "It’s a bit rude that they didn’t reply, isn’t it? I don’t get why we can't question people just because of their position in society. I don't care if they have a crown. One or two Canadian bears are killed to make each hat and that is totally unnecessary."
Steve Carell is apparently planning to remake Peter Sellers's 1967 comedy The Bobo. According to the New York Post the Get Smart actor would like Eva Mendes to star opposite him in the project.
Robin Williams has filed a lawsuit against a production company, alleging that they didn't pay him after a movie was scrapped. The Hollywood star was due to begin making A Couple Of Dicks by April this year, and had a clause in his contract which meant he would be paid $6 million whether it was made or not. The actor is now seeking the payment, as well costs and other damages, and has asked for a jury trial.

Boy George has been forced to axe a gig on his latest tour amid reports that less than 100 tickets sold. The 1980s icon was due to perform at the Portsmouth Guildhall tomorrow night as part of his 'The Boy Is Back In Town' tour. Just 89 seats were sold for the event, which could have drawn an audience of 2,200.

Feisty female Pink has insisted that she has no regrets about marrying Carey Hart. The pair got married in January 2006, after being in a relationship for four years, but announced their separation in February this year. The pair remain close friends and Hart can even be seen in Pink’s new video ‘So What’. When speaking to Cosmopolitan the singer said "Of course I was disappointed that my marriage didn't work out - you want it to work. I wanted the fairytale and we didn't quite make it. Yes, it's sad but I don't have any regrets. Carey and I are still the best of friends and I'm grateful for what we shared and will continue to share."
Funnyman Simon Pegg has reportedly signed a £1 million book deal to write his autobiography. The Brit actor will pen his memoirs along with two more books for publisher Hodder & Stoughton.

Avril Lavigne’s marriage to Sum41 star Deryck Whibley is on the rocks according to reports. It’s thought that Whibley has lost interest in his own career and prefers to go out drinking and partying, and that the couple are not spend much time together because of Lavigne’s touring schedule. Whibley was recently seen holding the hand of an unknown woman at a nightclub in Los Angeles.
Former Blink182 drummer Travis Barker has said he is thankful to be alive after being involved in a plane crash last month. The rocker and DJ AM escaped the crash, but it took four peoples’ lives. He is currently in hospital being treated for second and third degree burns.

Spider-Man actress Kirsten Dunst is writing her own stage musical. The Hollywood star told The News Of The World "I started to write a musical a few years ago and I'm going to get back into writing it. But I'm not going to say what it's about though.” She also confirmed that she will return as Mary Jane Watson in Spider-Man 4.
David Walliams and Matt Lucas have apparently discussed the idea of Victoria and David Beckham appearing in Little Britain USA. The comedians are good friends with the Beckhams and think that they would make great guests in a cameo appearance.
Rocker Eddie Van Halen has confirmed his engagement to girlfriend Janie Liszewski. It was reported that Van Halen proposed to his other half in a private room in Tiffany’s while on holiday in Hawaii. The pair are expected to tie the knot in June 2009.
Travis frontman Fran Healy has compared men to “wild animals”. When speaking to The Observer, Healy said that men will sleep with anything if they’re given the chance. I never took it too seriously when I was doing it and I don't take this seriously either."

Limp Bizkit are set to reform according to their frontman Fred Durst. The group who had a huge hit with ‘Rollin’ split in 2006 following the release of their album ‘The Unquestionable Truth’. Guitarist Wes Borland, who left the band for three years in 2001, has been replaced by Terry Balsamo of Evanescence.
Lenny Henry will make his stage debut playing Othello next spring at the West Yorkshire Playhouse in Leeds before the show goes on a national tour. The production will be directed by Barrie Rutter, who met Henry while recording a speech from the play for Radio 4 and Henry is hoping that he will attract a diverse audience.

It is with great sadness we report that Aaron Fuller, lead singer of punk band Plan 9 has died following a motorbike crash in California. The 35-year-old is believed to have lost control of the vehicle and struck a concrete barrier - throwing him from the motorcycle and leaving him with fatal head injuries. The rocker passed away in the early hours of Tuesday morning, Fuller’s family have said that they hope Plan 9 continue as that’s what he would have wanted.
Rumours are circulating that Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones are keen to make a third Men In Black film, but are being kept from the project due to other movie commitments. Walter Parkes, one of the producers, has admitted that a lot of work would need to be done to the story before the rest of the team would even consider making a third film. Parkes was also not overly impresses with MIB II as he said “I don't think we did the best possible job on the second one. It would be great to pull the franchise back."
The Red Hot Chili Peppers, No Doubt and The Offspring are auctioning off merchandise and memorabilia to help fund fellow California rocker Allen Shellenberger's brain tumour battle. Lit star Shellenberger was diagnosed with a grade four malignant brain tumour earlier this year and is currently undergoing radiation and chemotherapy treatments at the Cedars-Sinai Maxine Dunitz Neurosurgical Institute in LA. Proceeds from the auction will go towards Shellenberger’s medical costs.
Whoopi Goldberg is celebrating the life of her late friend Paul Newman, as she believes the acting legend was her guardian angel. When speak on a US Television show the actress said "He was one of the best people I've ever known. I got very sick 15 or 20 years ago, to the point when I almost died. I was in a coma, and when I woke up, sitting on the window sill in my hospital room was Paul Newman. I thought to myself, 'am I dead'?”. Newman passed away on Friday aged 83 following a battle with cancer.
Eighties pop icon Rick Astley is in the running to be named Best Act Ever at the MTV Europe Music Awards. The singer whose hit ‘Never Gonna Give You Up’ hit the Number 1 spot in 16 countries, will faces stiff competition for the title from the likes of Britney Spears, U2 and Green Day.
Dirty Pretty Things are no more, the band have split up in order for them to try new things. Frontman Carl Barat released a statement via NME saying "It is with some sadness we announce the farewell of the Dirty Pretty Things. It has been a glorious three years which we all would gladly live out again, but it is time for us to try new things.” He also thanked all those that supported the band.
The Kills were left confused when their tour bus disappeared mid-way through their US tour. The duo last saw their bus on September 26, but it then vanished along with their driver and their luggage. The band who have been supporting The Raconteurs have contacted the FBI to try to find the missing vehicle.
Ben Stiller’s new comedy Tropic Thunder has remained at the UK Box Office number one for another week. Taken was expected to knock Stiller and co from the top spot but failed.
According to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, the band are “less shit” than they used to be. Martin now believes that the band are in their peak and their performances are much better than they used to be.

Comedian Bill Bailey has announced that he will be leaving Nevermind The Buzzcocks after series 11. Bailey joined the BBC2 comedy in 2002 following the departure of Sean Hughes. A host of celebrities will fill Bailey’s captain chair until a replacement is found.
Ricky Gervais has once again spoken out about his dislike of fame and his celebrity status. The office star has said "The worst thing about this job for me is the fame," he said. "I've never understood why anyone wants people to know who they are. That's the thing I wish I could turn off."

Another day, another revelation from Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz. The latest story the bassist is sharing with the world is that he nearly set his house on fire after taken Ambien. The musician takes Ambien as a sleeping aid, but if you don’t fall asleep it makes you hallucinate. The incident Wentz was talking about happened four months ago, it is unclear whether pregnant wife Ashlee Simpson was in the house at the time.
Pink told Radio 1 DJ Chris Moyles that she tricked her estranged husband Corey Hart into appearing in her latest video ‘So What’ – the song is about Hart. The couple spilt in February, but when chatting on the radio Pink said “He hadn't heard the song before he showed up for the video. She will also wear a fat suit for a plot that involves the show’s story jumping forward five years.
Pink Floyd’s founding member Richard Wright has lost his battle with cancer. The keyboard player passed away on Monday, aged 65. Wright, who performed on every Floyd tour, was also onstage in 2005, when the surviving members of the band played a rapturously received reunion gig at the Live 8 concert. Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this time.
Iron Maiden’s Bruce Dickinson has come to the rescue of holiday makers who were left stranded following the collapse of XL. The frontman is a qualified pilot and flew holidaymakers back to England from both Kos and Sharm el-Sheikh. Dickinson has flown commercial aircraft for years, and when Iron Maiden tour he pilots the group’s own Boeing 747 - which is named Ed Force One after the band's mascot Eddie.
Lindsay Lohan is obviously not a fan of Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin. The flame haired actress has said "I find it quite interesting that a woman who now is running to be second in command of the United States, only four years ago had aspirations to be a television anchor. Ashton Kutcher has become an assistant high school football coach for Havard-Westlake School in LA. The actor will assist in coaching training sessions five days a week and on match days. Will Smith is set to star in the historic epic The Last Pharaoh. It’s been reported that Smith has waited to portray pharaoh Taharqa for a long time, and the upcoming movie will centre around his conflict with Assyrian leader Esarhaddon, which started in 677 BC. The Hollywood star is also producing the film along with James Lassiter and Ken Stovitz.
Goonies star Corey Feldman has suggested that his parents exploited him during the height of his fame in the 80’s. He refused to blame his Hollywood career for his personal problems, instead blaming his parents. He told Metro "It wasn't the industry's fault, it was my parents'. They should have been more responsible and laid the groundwork for me to build a healthy adult life. I was fortunate enough to continue my career, but that's due to my tireless dedication. I was 17 and already I'd become a joke to some people. As with everything in life you're measured by your achievements and people like to point out your failures. Russell Brand has apologised to the Jonas Brothers for making fun of their virginity while he was hosting the VMAs. Funeral For A Friend have announced that bassist Gareth Davies has left the band. Davies has been living in America for the past couple of years and recently got married, the strain of travelling between countries has taken its toll and Gareth and he has decided it is best for the band, his family and himself to leave the band. We wish Gareth well in everything he does and would like to thank him for taken the time to talk to Scene Slut when we were just starting out.
David Bowie’s album ‘The Rise and Fall Of Ziggy Stardust’ has been voted as the gayest record of all time. Out magazine are running the feature, the list was compiled by 100 gay actors, musicians and critics. Boy George and Scissor Sister’s Jake Shears were amongst the artists voting.
There is bad news in store for all you Gavin and Stacey fans – Ruth Jones have admitted that she and partner in crime James Corden are “too busy” to write a third series of the hit show. The pair are currently working on separate projects and cannot fit the BBC Three sitcom into their schedule.
Noel Gallagher has spoken out in favour of Guitar Hero as it inspirers youngsters to make and perform music. The Oasis guitarist finds it a pleasant change from all the violent games that are usually released.

Johnny Depp performed with his old high school band at a fundraising concert in Florida. The Hollywood hunk played a 90 minute set in front of 2800 people. Proceeds from the event went to the Dan Marino Foundation which helps children with special needs.
Ugly Betty star America Ferrera is proud that her unglamorous character has given young girls more confidence and made them feel more attractive. Ferrera also admitted that one of the main benefits of the ABC comedy is that it makes it easier for her to look good in real life. "The expectations are really low for me because I play Ugly Betty," she said. "I can just walk out in jeans and a T-shirt and people are like, 'Man, you look good!'"
Kid Rock has admitted that he finds Brit singer Amy Winehouse an inspiration. Rock claims he has been listening to her album ‘Back To Black’ and that listening to that album has made him go through all his old Stax and Motown records. Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher has admitted that he wants to move to New York when his youngest child finishes school. He is currently touring North America to promote the band’s new studio album ‘Dig Out Your Soul’.
It has been reported that Pete Doherty went ahead with a gig in Austria just hours after a suspected drug overdose. The Babyshambles singer went out on a bender before performing a solo show, and an ambulance was called when he collapsed at his publicist’s house. Medics revived him but he refused hospital treatment as he wanted to play the gig, although he was four hours late.

The Zutons frontman Dave McCabe has denied reports that he snubbed producer Mark Ronson when they first met. Ronson reworked The Zutons’ track Valerie and until Glastonbury this year McCabe and Ronson had very little contact with each other. The curly haired Scouse singer said “I think Ronson sometimes says things to make them sound more exciting. He told someone that the first time he tried to speak to me I walked away. That's not true."
Funnyman Graham Norton has admitted that he would never be brave enough to take part in Strictly Come Dancing. The Irish TV presenter said to the Daily Record "If you can't do it, you can't do it. Some people do get better but others look like they are recovering from an accident. It's just terrible. I like to think I'd be the one who learned incredibly quickly and in one week got the key to my dance and then was brilliant, but I've got an awful feeling I'd be more like Kate Garraway."
Tom Cruise has revealed that he would like to take on more comedy roles. The actor, who makes a guest appearance in Ben Stiller’s new movie Tropic Thunder told The New York Post “I'm always looking for something new and Ben's movie is hilarious. He and I are old friends and he is a really good director, so originally I said I'd do it just for friendship. But it turned out great.”

Jack Osbourne has revealed that he is making a documentary about his dad, Ozzy. Jack claimed the public is not aware of his dad's true personality, arguing that MTV reality show The Osbournes misrepresented him. “My dad's not an idiot - he's nothing short of a genius. He does have huge flaws, and we're trying to really paint an honest picture of that.” The project is expected to be shown as next year’s Ozzfest, and it will also feature interviews with the rest of Black Sabbath.
Singer Kid Rock has claimed that he pulled his Download performance because he was mistreated by the backstage organisers. When he cancelled his slot at the festival it was reported that the singer had been taken to hospital. However, the American musician denied the rumours about his ill health, insisting it was the lack of rider and bathroom facilities that prompted his withdrawal. He told the Daily Star "Festival bosses treated me like fuck. There was just one trailer for my whole band. We had no water, no bathroom, no rider. The final straw was when they wouldn't give my crew any food or drinks vouchers. I called the promoter and told him he had two hours to get it sorted or I was out. They did nothing so I visited the promoter's office, took a piss on his couch and left."
Its been reported that comedian Peter Kay is recording a novelty Christmas song with Gary Barlow. The tune will tie in with Kay’s reality TV spoof Britain’s Got The Pop Factor And Possibly A New Celebrity Jesus Christ Soapstar Superstar Strictly On Ice. The show will launch on Channel 4 in October and it’s expected that the song will be a strong contender for Christmas number 1.
My Name Is Earl star Jason Lee has become a father for a second time. The actor and his girlfriend welcome their daughter into the world on August 10, but the name has not yet been revealed.
